Week 1Discussion: Special Education Law: Videos Reactions Name Institution Reaction to Special Education Law Videos The two videos address the unfair and unjust treatments that children with special needs are exposed to by schools without considering the effect that this usually has on the children. Ideally, most schools have teachers that lack the proper skills on how to handle these special needs children and therefore end up making their learning experience more of a nightmare than an opportunity to gain. For instance, through the students, it is quite evident that every one of them has their best ways through which they learn and understand the teachers. For some of them, they listen without necessarily looking at the teacher, others concentrate best when slouching in their chairs while others gain more when there is a break in between learning in form of a recess. Unfortunately, many teachers are less informed about these facts and they end up assuming that such children are only misbehaving in class without thinking that this could be their way of learning.
