Can You Force People into Guidance and Counseling?

It is a matter of debate whether people should be forced to counseling. The focal target of counseling should be to help the counselee come up with a working solution for the issue that is hailing them. This is against the widely held perception that the counselor should come up with the solution for the issue ailing the counselee. The work of the counselor is to guide the counselee to achieve the intended goal by monitoring the progress of the client (Robertson, 2013)
On the bases of the above ground, it would not be viable to force somebody into counseling. This is because; the person will most likely not come up with a working solution for the problem as expected in the guidance and counseling. In order for a counselee to be able to come up with a working solution, under the guidance of the counselor, it is crucial that the person attends the counseling session out of their own volition (Kuntze, Van de...
