PART B - Acknowledgement of Country (2 minutes/200 words/10%)

Building on your learnings, you are to produce a written or multimodal text applying your knowledge of, understanding of and respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, histories, cultures and languages and understanding of the impact of culture, cultural identity and linguistic background of Indigenous peoples to produce an Acknowledgement of Country.

To complete this task you will be required to:

• Produce an Acknowledgement of Country (either written or as a multimodal text).

· Link your Acknowledgement of Country to your personal context (eg. your relationship to Country - where you live, work, and so forth and/or information about the local Traditional Owners, etc).

PART C- Strengths-based task (500 words/30%)

You are asked to select a poem, artwork, story, etc written or created by an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person and/or an artefact or object from the Cultural Collections provided. You are to select a resource from a range of resources, including ICT, and describe how the resource will engage Indigenous students in their learning.
