I have been drinking coffee for past 10 years, I truly love the taste coffee, nothing better then waking up early in the morning enjoying a home brewed cup of perfection. However, I chosen to go Cold turkey, quit drinking coffee .During, the next eight weeks, for the experimental exercise. This first week has been really challenging for me without coffee. I feel foggy, I have a headache all day, irritable, can’t focus, slow moving, I hope things get better.

I have a chosen to give up coffee for our experiment. One thing for sure this has been a harder journey then I expected. The first week was very tough on me since I experienced all the symptoms associated with this, feeling foggy, experiencing headaches, losing focus and having trouble making routine decisions effectively. My family was very supportive of me and they advised me to slowly cut down on my coffee consumption. I tried it but it really let me down and unfortunately I had a relapse and felt so miserable about myself. The past few weeks have been extremely stressful, I have felt anxious, I have become a completely different person and changed my behavior, I have become moody and easily snap on my family, and thi really stressed me up. With all this things happening to me I realized I had a very serious addiction to caffeine.
