Education is the most significant cultivation of learning to acquire correct knowledge from the beginning. It involves people in more interesting innovations. Many new systems have been introduced which affects individuals in one way or the other. These changes have caused positive and negative variations in the learning sector. These reforms can be a leading factor in educational growth. To maintain the reforms, proper measures should be taken into consideration by enforcing the “education for all” policy.
Positive and Negative Changes in Education
Changes are necessary elements of an education system to cope up with the current technology. These changes are sometimes positive and sometimes negative. Here we will compare some positive and negative changes and their effects. Starting with a positive one, the introduction of technology in this field has a great impact on the students and their development area CITATION Ame18 \l 1033 (Jan, 2018). Online schooling and teaching are now convenient for both the teachers and the students with the increase in technology. It also offers the teacher and students to access learning resources that are out of reach within seconds CITATION Hof17 \l 1033 (Hoffert, 2017). This change also enhances teachers’ skills. Meanwhile, it also brings some adverse effects on the students. Scholars believed that constant use of technology has made the students dependent and has affected their ability to interactive thinking.
Enhancement of quality education is another positive change. This approach was first introduced in the USA. The educators are making it quite obvious that every student gets the appropriate quality educational development. Competitive learning strategies have been introduced (Net, 2018). At the primary and secondary level, education is made child-friendly. The learning environment is to be made adequate according to the children’s needs. Another important measure that is taken for quality education is the quality of teachers and their feedback mechanism (Kimonen & Nevalainen, 2017). These are very important for the students in this modern world but some may not come up with such competitive learning.
