Behavior rating scales are vital because they help educators or practitioners to assess the behavioral and emotional problems of children. They facilitate the standardization of the kind of questions asked so that one can get appropriate answers that would help in understanding the needs of a particular child. More than one person should fill behavior rating scales so that the educator can perceive the personality of the learner in different environments.
An educator should have a data collection form when observing the behavior of a student in the school to ensure that all feedback is recorded correctly. Indeed, one should know the progress of a specific learner and understand his or her problems.
