Data Collection and Data Analysis SLP #4 Name Institutional Affiliation Data Collection and Data Analysis Data collection and analysis is an important part of the research process and one that continually affects the way in which research is carried out effectively. In essence, it is vital that the research process does not exclude any valuable information, hence the need for adopting research processes and methodologies that add significant value to the study and shed more light on the subject matter of the research (Marczyk, DeMatteo, & Festinger, 2010). In this way, research processes and methodologies need to be subjected to rigorous review and assessments to ensure that they can consistently provide significant value and perspective to the research process. This will inevitably go a long way towards ensuring that various disciplines, such as entrepreneurship education research, are not only valued but also improved consistently. For this study, entrepreneurship education served as the subject matter. In this sense, the study sought to establish the significance of elaborate and concise research on influencing entrepreneurship education (Blenker, Trolle Elmholdt, Hedeboe Frederiksen, Korsgaard, & Wagner, 2014). As a means of establishing this, a Mixed Method study is used. Taking into account the nature and type of study the authors had envisioned, this choice proved to be appropriate. The authors sought to analyze information obtained from 88 journal articles boasting a diverse mix of methodology, purpose, and nature of study (whether qualitative or quantitative) as a means of gaining much-needed perspective on the research process and its impact on the development of sound and credible information. In this way, this approach works perfectly well to shed much needed light on the state of research on entrepreneurship education from both qualitative and quantitative perspectives (Blenker et al., 2014). This further enhanced the impact of the study and ensured that the study further provided valuable insights into the entrepreneurship education research sector. In this paper, the research problem revolves around establishing the various forms of research used in entrepreneurship education and their corresponding impacts on the effectivity of entrepreneurship research. The authors seek to establish how various data sources, approaches, and research methods are used in entrepreneurship education research and how they positively or negatively affect the research in question (Blenker et al., 2014). For instance, the authors seem keen to explore the current techniques and methodologies used in entrepreneurship education research and how they can be improved methodologically to result in better and more credible research. By approaching the research problem in this way, it becomes much easier for the authors to broadly explore the topic as opposed to following a narrow and restrictive path in terms of research (Cooper, 2010). This helps establish clear and elaborate research process that inevitably results in highly positive results. In this study, descriptive research questions are used. These questions are focused on shedding more light on the research processes undertaken in entrepreneurship education and how they affect th...
