Mentoring plays an essential role in teaching adults since it enhances an individual's ability to understand concepts. Mentoring is necessary in the learning process in the case where the student needs more guidance regarding classwork. Coaching is a person-centered approach used to help people improve a certain skill or achieve their desired goals.
