This particular day was just like other days except that in the afternoon, my memory came alive when I met Adrian my long lost cousin. A fragment of memories came alive as to when I was 10 years old. Adrian had stayed with us during each school holiday as we became fond of each other looking forward to every school holiday to play on the swings or chase each other around the back garden and even on hot afternoon jump in the nearby river to swim. We could get in trouble for climbing mango trees around the neighborhood to get ripe mangoes. Our friendship has always and will be some of the few childhood memories I would like to cherish in my life forever. We lost contact with Adrian during the last long holidays when Adrian's mother died under unclear circumstances and he was forced to go and stay with his aunt who lived far away from us.
