Introduction
Medium is simply a collection of communication tools that are used to pass information from one entity to another. The human body is defined as the material frame that constitutes a human. It is the series of units and the whole collection of a person. Human body as media means that, the human body is simply a collection of exchangeable parts. It means that the body constitutes of parts which can easily be transferred from one body to another. Different ways are used in dealing with the human body parts depending what the parts are to be used in. It also gives some of the possible advantages and limitations in perception of the body as a collection of exchangeable parts, especially in terms of how bodies are normatively defined as disabled, abled, and super-abled.
The body is not just an object like any other object in the world. It is regarded as media. The parts that make up the body can easily be transferred from one body to another. Mental disability could be cognitive and / or psychiatric. Physical disabilities could include a wide range of impairments which ranges from hearing and vision impairments to pulmonary, cardiovascular, orthopedic and neuromuscular disorders. There has been a question of whether to term the modern machines as humans or humans as machines. This is because of the many things the frame of a human is capable of doing. According to mechanistic worldview, bodies can be regarded as machines. They can be disassembled into its individual parts just like machines. In addition, t...
