Rhetorical Analysis
The initial impression one gets from viewing this advertisement is its simple structure and appearance. The advertisement is in the form of an image as well as a message to the clients, which is one paragraph long. The image comprises of a child holding a toy which appears to be in the form of a house made out of LEGO pieces. Besides the child, there is a car toy that has been made out of the pieces as well. There is also a box which is the packaging material for the parts, and it displays a picture of a child playing with the LEGO pieces, and the child appears to have made different objects from them. The image of the child smiling and playing with the toy first attracts one’s attention on the poster. The colors used in the advertisement are also appealing to the eyes and bring out a feeling of warmth and fun, making one comfortable and more interested in reading what the image says. The words used are also quite captivating. The language used can motivate parents to buy the toy since they convey a powerful message about how LEGO toys will be beneficial to the child not just through fun when playing but also through helping build their mind. The words are clear that the more a child makes different objects from the LEGO pieces, the more their intellectual capacity is developed as they start envisioning these objects in...
