Life is like a river, with endless meanders and quivers
Sometimes we go up sometimes we go down.
Sometimes the tide may lead, and often times we choose to concede.
Yet with every passing breath, the wheels of time keep turning
Why do we forget this inner power, which is meant to make us stand tall like towers?
Why give in to the restless tides, when there is every reason to fight?
Wherever your life may lead, May you never give up.
Life is a struggle, but it doesn’t mean you have to fall
Even in the face of endless troubles, it only makes sense to stand tall
Just think about the sparrow, leaf by leaf it builds its nest
And when the soft wind whispers, little is remembered of the work
However crude this may be, seldom is the sparrow’s resilience killed
Times will always get hard, the hills will continue being steep
Nevertheless, in all this, may you never give up.
Quitting is for cowards, for those who don’t know left from right or up from down
Heavens have granted us an equal chance,
That each day may bring forth its own struggles
We may choose to fight, we may choose to move, or even dance
Whatever decision you make, quitting is not an option
There is no dignity in walking away, or giving up when so close to victory
How can one possibly move?
With their eyes filled with the haunting shadows of the past?
Why think of what could go wrong when everything else could go right?
