For a long time, the American politics have been interesting to follow especially on matters of policy, especially, foreign policy. Regarding the woes of Clinton's Bill and the success of the Obama’s Bill, so many factors contributed to this disparity. First, the task force responsible for creating the plan and facilitating its readiness within a 100-day deadline and present it to the Congress was late (Dilly, 2003). Moreover, several key stakeholders were absent from the task force such as representatives from health insurance firms, the pharmaceutical sector, the American Medical Association, as well as the media. Additionally, the task force would function in secret, the public getting the highlights when the deadline was close to ending. As the task force continued to work on the health care reforms, the health care sector began a medical technology revolution. As a result, diseases that previously were termed as critical became treatable, nonetheless at a price. Subsequently, the expectations and health care cost altered the equation, evolving preventive care as well as its capacity to prolong life into a financial liability (Dilly, 2003).
