The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch is a funny narrative that reveals how an individual can have fun even at death hour. Death is a very sensitive issue worldwide, and many people think about how they can avoid dying early. When Pausch understood that he had very few days to live, he composed The Last Lecture centered on the most critical issues in life. The main points he makes include making sincere apologies, humility, exercising grace, and avoiding whining. Pausch’s narrative utilized stylistic devices to persuade and evoke the childhood memories of the audience. This shows that one can live a happy and fulfilling life when they can only focus on making others' lives better (Pausch).
