Face-to-face learning has been part of the educational system for as long as I can remember. Even before schools and universities came to be, people in the old days learned by observing. Experienced people in the tribe who were experts in hunting and gathering would carry along the young men and teach them hunting by mimicking what they did, and in turn, over time, they would become experts too. That is how the learning institutions carry education, and face-to-face learning in a class with the teacher and the student has been and still is the most traditional mode of teaching.However, with the growing technology, learning processes have been made simpler by introducing online learning that can be conducted anywhere in the world so long as you have a computer and an internet connection.
Face-to-face learning has been the birth of many intelligent people, and even I went through my education using face-to-face learning. It is beneficial because you would concentrate harder in class than at home, where there are many distractions; one can grasp things faster using real-world instances by the teacher and fellow student's natural voice and body language (Nicolson & Uematsu, 2013). It is also proven that the completion rate of face-to-face learning is four times greater than that of online learning.
