1 Corporate Public Relations dynamics: Internal vs. External stakeholders and the role of the Practitioner.
In this study, the authors utilized a qualitative approach that focuses on the use of case studies, in-depth interviews, and observations in order to find out the complex relationships between internal dynamics, external communication, and the role of the PR practitioner, among others. Generally, the author of this paper believes that the use of a qualitative approach is one of the best ways on how to go about the research. It allowed the researcher to be able to gain a deeper and more specific understanding of the complex relationship between the two, which would be more difficult in a quantitative study. However, it might also be possible to use a missed-method approach that would use surveys in order to understand the public’s perception of the respective PRs of the companies in the study.
