Our final project (yay) will be an investigation into social media uses and impacts on human communication.  It will occur in two phases.  This will be individual project involving interviews, research, and will produce a paper at the end.
Phase 1-  You will come up with 4-6 questions about social media to get a sense of how it is being used.  You will interview 6 people from a variety of demographics using your questions.  Questions can be simple- Do you use social media?  What features of snapchat do you like?  How do you personally use Twitter?  Basically you are investigating any aspect of social media you feel is worthy of analysis.  (interpersonal relationships, bullying, campaigning, etc.)  Also, you can focus on one particular social media site- but are not required to.
Phase 2- After conducting your interviews you will put together your findings along with a bit of outside research into a summarizing analysis.  I would like the analysis to include several sections;
  1.  Open with explaining the area/s of social media you have investigated   
2.  List the interview questions you used  
3.  Explain the population that you interviewed  
4.  Explain what your research discovered
5.  Conclude with personal thoughts on the impacts of this technology on Human Communication as we have defined it in this course.

Electronic commerce involves trading of services and goods through the Internet. E-commerce can also be referred to as internet commerce. These goods and services are rendered in four major entities, in essence; Business to Customer, Customer to Customer, Customer to Business, and Business to Business. Examples of e-commerce companies include Amazon, eBay, Alibaba, Shopify, and Sky-garden (Aladwani, 2018). These stores are web-based, and most of their revenue is generated electronically. The transactions are handled through electronic payment platforms such as PayPal (Swinarski et al., 2010). E-commerce businesses majorly communicate through social media applications such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to boost sales. This paper delves deeper into understanding the communication impacts lodged by e-commerce platforms through interviews.

The following questions were asked to provide different insights concerning e-commerce impact in social media. Are you aware of any online shopping platforms? Yes. If so, state one. Amazon. What is your take on the quality of products sold through e-commerce platforms? Not at all products are up to standards as advertised on Instagram and it also depends on the kind of product I purchase. With the introduction of e-commerce trading, what changes do you experience in your shopping habits? Well, currently, I am more inclined to source most items online, I find it relaxing.
