This has been quite a boon, especially for government agencies, since the execution of services is also quite easy. Assignment of certain duties by the personnel is also improved, while the people can learn what programs are being instituted by the department of healthcare services. Healthcare management has been using this active practice to raise charity funds for cancer patients. This engagement practice has reached out to a large percentage of the population through the use of very important practices such as cross-posting of social media content, sharing the contents with friends, reposting the contents, posting downloadable contents, and creating incentives for sharing through personal accounts. This practice is essential as it reaches a lot of people, and the department of health should use it during emergency and important updates (Criado & Sandova, 2013).
Online collaboration and multimedia engagement are another important practice that can help improve healthcare services. The department of healthcare services should create a profile with its plans well added. This makes the audience understand the agency well. To engage the people, the department of healthcare services should create online discussion forums that will keep the audience active and following. This practice is more efficient when a proper topic for discussion is chosen. Online forums help the agency to get a public opinion that may help improve their services.
