Question#1: How can focusing on health communication, policy and advocacy efforts on individual behaviors influence the health of the population?
According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, focusing on health communication, advocacy and policy can greatly influence the healthcare industry because it is the only way to develop a strong relationship between the patients and doctors, a relationship that eventually helps patients recover from their diseases. Plus, this helps them acquire knowledge and creates awareness regarding health issues, beliefs, attitudes, and perceptions. It also prompts actions, demonstrates healthy skills, debunks misconceptions and myths, and enhances support for the services.
