Facebook has been trouble seven times because of data breaches. In an attempt to expand, Facebook compromised its users' privacy by allowing access of personal information of tens of millions of people to a political firm linked to President Donald Trump. This happened after a warning from their engineers about a Russia linked activity. Russia was planning to disrupt the 2016 American elections. The worst part of it is that Facebook were unable to contain this Russian infestation.
