When writing a research paper, one must define the topic of study and come up with proper research questions and hypotheses. In particular, the research questions need to be arguable, focused, and concise (The Writing Center, 2018). In Unit VI, before introducing the research questions, I did some research on the topic “the healthcare cost and abuse of funds” to identify whether there were credible and relevant sources or not. Afterwards, I established five questions relating to my topic of study. However, I revised these research questions several times to ensure that they were clear. My primary research question was “How does the abuse of funds or corruption influence the accessibility, affordability, and convenience of healthcare services in the USA?” I realized that the most significant thing to do when introducing research questions is to make sure that they relate to the primary subject of study and that one has credible sources.
