Week 1 Key Concepts in Management Student's Name Institutional Affiliation Week 1 Key Concepts in Management Warren G Bennis said that "Leaders are people who do the right things; managers are people who do things right," (Bennis). Leaders are involved in creating a great vision of the future, communicating it and helping all the involved stakeholders to understand and commit themselves to it while managers have been mandated with the responsibilities of ensuring that the vision is implemented effectively. The two overlap and to be effective one has to take both roles. However, to fill them both individuals need to have the skills and tools that will enable them to implement the program effectively.
