According to Statistica (2023), the global revenue from the T-shirt market is priced at US$ 44.56 billion, with the expectation that the market will continue expanding at a rate of 3.22 percent for the next five years. Thus, the company needs to understand its target customers to gain a market share in the T-shirt industry. The Medium Cost T-Shirt company will operate as a business-to-client (B2C) enterprise, marketing its t-shirts directly to retail clients. In terms of positioning, the company will provide mid-priced t-shirts to reach a broad range of customers looking to purchase quality t-shirts at a considerable price. Thus, the target buyer for the company will be customers who place consider the price point and the quality of the products when making purchasing decisions.
Consequently, the profile of the customer will be individuals who mainly fall between the ages of 22-45 years. That is, the company will seek to meet the needs of young adults, professionals, and individuals who seek fashionable yet reasonably priced t-shirts. A significant aspect of the target customers is their quality consciousness. While the targeted customers will be price-sensitive, there is an expectation that they will scrutinize the durability, comfort, and overall craftsmanship of the t-shirt (Ortiz, 2019). Moreover, the customer will be socially conscious and care about the ethical and sustainable aspects of the t-shirts. The target market prefers t-shirts that are produced ethically and sustainably in line with fair labor practices, environmentally friendly materials, and responsible production processes. By understanding the characteristics and preferences of their B2C customers, the T-Shirt Company can develop targeted marketing campaigns, prioritize product quality, and emphasize their commitment to ethical and sustainable practices
