Consumer behavior is the study of people, society and the procedures they use to choose, utilize, and dispose of goods and services. Moreover, consumer behavior studies the impacts these procedures have on consumers and society. Consumer;s purchases are mostly influenced by emotions. Consumer behavior studies suggest that participation in online social network raises people's self-esteem and lower their self-control. High feelings of self-esteem lead to impulsive and generous behavior when it comes to money and diet decisions. Hence, having weak ties with social network does not affect person self-esteem and self-control. Moreover, the consumer behavior studies suggest that people spend less and save more when they operate a single account as opposed to multiple accounts, such as vacation account and school fees account (Pelau, 201).
