Apple and Samsung are the leading competitors in the cell phone industry that continue to give the world new innovations every time. Although they use different strategies in their business models and are close competitors, they always excel in what they do. They have managed to give the world new innovations such as iPhone 5S and C, and Samsung Galaxy Gear. Despite the barriers to innovation that they face, they have found a number of techniques that give them a way around.
Both companies have managed to implement new innovations in the market because of the way they conduct their business despite the barriers that are there. They excel because they have focused on transforming their business from single products to multiple services that are based on platforms and different ecosystems.
