Ethnocentric is a staffing policy that is utilized by organizations that have global operations. The policy entails the head office recruiting employees and then posting them to the host nations. The best approach where this policy is used is a scenario where a team is trained in the headquarters, then sent to initiate a new plant as well as offer training to the support staff on how to utilize the new system. The main advantage of using this type of staffing is that it gives the workers an opportunity to acquire international experiences.
