Social media has grown to levels that were not initially anticipated and individuals as well as businesses have and want to reap off of it. Companies have turned social media networks to one of the biggest marketing platforms and the gains have been immense. Unlike the traditional methods and forms of marketing, social media platforms are interactive, and customers can even post questions and get answers in real time.
Social media influences consumers in numerous ways. First of all, social media helps to increase customer loyalty. Through the social media platforms, businesses have been able to establish a personal connection with their clients. This connection coupled with prompt responses to customer queries strengthens the bond that a business has with its consumers. Customers nowadays also tend to conduct more product research than before. The fact that there is a vast amount of product information means that the clients get to make informed choices before making some purchases.
