According to the National Right to Work Foundation (2017), my state (Missouri) became the 28th and the newest Right to Work state. After the legislation was signed into law by the governor, I do not expect a change in the situation. In addition, I think more states will pass the Right to Work legislation. It is my opinion that the current political environment can promote the passing of the laws even in the entire country. Therefore, I do not expect the situation regarding the laws in my state to change anytime soon. All workers in the state will continue receiving the representation of unions regardless of whether they pay or not.
