How this assignment influenced your thinking about international business
Handling this project allowed me to have an experience with firms that have not limited their operations to a single country. I got a chance to learn how the firms came to existence and how they have been succeeding in their operations over the years regardless of the international environment being changeable and complicated. Much importantly through the project I got to learn how these firms’ activities influenced and meant to the nations they operate in. International Business course has helped in examining how organizations operate in global environments. The course has further influenced my understanding of implementation and development of managerial activities, strategy and organizational issues that are related to cross-border actions.
The areas of study that were involved in this project of international business are the challenges that are involved in managing global companies whether big or small. The project also helped me learn the strategic management fundamentals, globalization, cross-cultural management and the politics and regulations of global business. Through this course I am prepared to face the complicated international business environment that exists today. This will be possible regardless of geographical limitations that could be contributed by global distribution networks, electronic communication, and international financial systems.
