and Effective Public Organizations
For an organization to be effective in its operations it must be having good Principles of Public Administration for it to win confidence of all its stakeholders. Public administration is a process which is complicated and encompasses various controls processes such as; an organization being involved in economical, social, political and legal and relation on how they influences each other. Hence, because of its intricate nature, it is much difficult to administer public sector. Therefore it is necessary to employ effective administration principles to be implemented for it to be effective. Emergence of tendencies of democratic elements they have initiated good governance and management which are being embraced by implementing the following administration principles; Accountability, Transparency and Openness, Effectiveness and Efficiency and predictability and reliability (Stillman, 2011).
Reliability and Predictability
The principle is meant to ensure that the services being offered by Public Administrators provide services which are satisfactory. The services must be predictable and reliable to meet the potential needs which were intended for. Predictability would be achieved if the public institutions are consistent on with the services being offered. Hence, the program being done could be predictable as they will not fluctuate during the execution of duties needed. It is also advisable for the public to have judicial security or legal certainty so that the services offered would service their needs and they are assured that they can challenge what is being offered through legal means if the services are poor.
Transparency and Openness
Governments operations are funded through customs and tax levies which are extended to the society through added costs on goods and services which they pay. Therefore, it is paramount for the government to be accountable to the resources they are using by being transparent and open. The government should implement measures that provide openness by governing the obtained resources, plan on how they allocate them to different projects being worked on. By being open to the public they will be aware on how the funds are being used to sponsor public programs.
