Promotion and Pricing Strategies Author Name Institution Affiliation The Primary Target Market The primary target market of Xee Café is men and women aging from 18 to 60. They account for up to 55 percent of the total business. However, this does not mean we will not serve people below 18 or above 60 (Kuncoro & Sutomo, 2018). It only means most of the products that are going to be sold at Xee Café will be according to the taste and requirements of people of 18 to 60 years old. Xee Café will appeal to people of this age group via online advertising and offline promotion or marketing. All of the target audiences for Xee Café share a number of characteristics such as a high-income bracket, environmental consciousness, and awareness of social status. Most recently, we added some new sugar-free soft drinks and eatables to the existing portfolio, and the purpose was to see how consumers would react and would these new sugar-free items increase the total number of sales per day or not. Amazingly, men and women aging from 21 to 35 loved these low-calorie or sugar-free items. We aim to target affluent young families with products such as containers of mango shake and vanilla milk and organic fruit squeezes. Children and teens will be targeted in the next stage and will be provided with sugary drinks and mouth-watering snack foods. Three Methods to Research Customer Needs or Requirements At Xee Café, we are committed to providing our consumers with only what is healthy, budget-friendly, and up to the market. We understand that it will be difficult to ensure 100 percent customer satisfaction, but we will keep working hard and will opt for different ways or techniques to make it possible. The first method we will use to research customer needs is interaction with more and more people through Twitter. For this purpose, a Twitter account has already been created, and we are on our way to increasing the number of followers every single day. The second way to evaluate whether or not consumers are satisfied with the current range of products is Facebook. It is currently the most powerful and interactive social networking sites, and the brand’s Facebook page already has 300k likes. Through regular posts and comments, we try to determine if customers are being provided with the needful or not and whether they want something extra to be presented at Xee Café’s stores or not. Thirdly, we distribute promotional letters among people who visit our food stores and encourage them to leave their feedback. These promotional letters accompany certain questionnaires which consumers will be requested to fill and drop in the drop box placed close to the receptionist.
