According to Kahn, Barton, and Fellows (2013), Relational systems are networks of interaction that exist within the framework of teams, organizations, departments, and functions. Furthermore, the authors said that these systems are the “nervous system”, which are “defined by patterns of affect, cognition, and behavior among members of bounded groups ranging in size from dyads to organizations” (Alderfer, 1980). Following from this, it is said that “all human systems are relational” for the fact that the decisions, functions, and actions which are done by the individual members of that system, eventually establishes a pattern over time (Schein, 1993).
