Essay Instructions:

Project success is dependent upon several factors, not the least of which is effective and efficient communication.
Assume you have just been assigned to manage an office renovation project for your company, a project that impacts several departments and several areas of the building. Some of these areas are common areas and are used by more than one department (e.g., printing, mailroom, and break room).
Although the project appears fairly straightforward, there are two challenges which have been made known to you. First, senior management has made it clear that implementing this change must not disrupt day-to-day operations as their customer base depends upon uninterrupted service. Second, you have learned that past projects have resulted in some departments getting correct and timely information while others did not.
Demonstrate your understanding of the strategy required to manage communication with sufficient detail to ensure that:
-the correct information is delivered;
-the correct people receive that information;
-information is received at the right time; and
-information is received in the right format.
Your write-up should address the initial analysis of what is required, the actual communication activity, and how you ensure that your strategy is both effective and efficient.
Requirements:
Your well-written paper should meet the following requirements:
*Be 2-4 pages in length, not including cover page, references page, and appendix. Appendices should be included at the end of the paper after the references page(s).
*Be formatted according to the CSU-Global Guide to Writing & APA (Links to an external site.).
*Cite a minimum of three sources, two of which should be current academic, peer-reviewed scholarly sources to support your responses, demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts that are presented in the course, and provide new thoughts and insights relating directly to this topic.
Note: Current research in this class means the most recent five-year period. Although research older than five years may be used, it will not count toward the assignment requirement. Additionally, in the lecture material for Module 1, you were reminded of what constitutes academic, peer-reviewed scholarly sources, and how to find them in the CSU Global Library.

Developing an efficient and sufficient project will require the management system to create a balanced framework aligning with the desired strategy. Although managing a process involving all departments in the organization might pose various challenges, implementing the correct structures aids the management procedures. An excellent framework involves cooperation at all levels from the top management to the most junior employees. Although the individuals may not be involved in the actual running of their project, awareness will enhance effectiveness (Kaplan & Norton, 2019). Working with an uninformed group might be hard since they will work in the opposite direction. Also, all departments should promote and implement continuous support for the project. Involving all sectors requires coordination to ensure maximum output from all departments since the entire process is working towards a specific achievement. All the individuals working in the project should use similar language to enhance the gathering and assembling communication to create value without disruption of the day to day operations of the business unit.
The project should implement effective processes of resource allocation, catering for all requirements and not depriving the organization from other operations. The unit is bound to work under standard financial perspectives to avoid extravagance and negative impacts on the running of the business (Kaplan & Norton, 2019). For instance, all suppliers should be managed at similar rates to ensure customer satisfaction. In this case, deviating from the principle may withdraw loyal consumers if they lack consistent orders from the organization. Although the process may and will involve various expenses like buying materials for the renovation, it should only consume the capital set for the project. Thus, the project should not interfere with any capital used in running and managing the continuity of the business.
The process has the objective of promoting the outlook of the business infrastructure. Hence, the main focus should work on improving the organization and not disrupting business activities. If stopping business operations for a while to carry out the process will affect the business negatively, the former should be ignored at all costs. The individuals working in the project should ensure the minimum cost to enhance the maximum utilization of resources and maximum profits (Kaplan & Norton, 2019). Although the entire process may require some effort, it should demand everything from the business.
