The Coca-Cola Company is an American multinational corporation, which manufactures syrup concentrate and sells it to numerous bottlers’ companies throughout the globe. The company has continued to gain drive and growth, taking advantage of the rapidly growing beverage industry and ranking as the biggest beverage corporation in the globe. In its push for globalization, Coca-Cola currently operates in over 200 countries with over 83,000 suppliers. Presently, over 65 percent of Coca Cola’s business income is generated from sources outside the U.S. (The Coca-Cola Company, 2015).

The Coca-Cola Company has played the role of being a good corporate citizen in multiple ways. The company has a lengthy history of supporting community sport and physical activity, as well as investing in local communities.
