Netflix earlier made an announcement about splitting its streaming and DVD business into two distinct companies; this left people wondering since they feared prices would increase (Favaro, 2015). After the feedback, the CEO made another announcement in form of an apology at the same time explains the reasons for the changes. The announcement made by the executive was to clarify the separation of DVD and streaming and the price changes.
The CEO acknowledged that most of its customer’s loved DVD service. However, streaming was a better option because it is a more integrated service.
