Informational website or site component A site component of the main website will be set aside to provide information and since the objective is to position the product as one of the ‘cool’ speakers to own this will be highlighted. To achieve this, the product features, sound quality and customer testimonials will be highlighted.  The goal of increasing traffic by 10% each month in the first three months will provide insights on the effectiveness of the performance measure.  It is possible to prioritize the marketing plan and improve the product’s online visibility. The assumption is that if there is higher traffic and positive reviews, this will translate into higher sales, but more efforts should also focus on building the brand to be more competitive.   Additionally, there will be emphasis on optimizing the various website internal elements and linking the marketing campaigns with press release distributions. This is important as current and potential customers can easily search for the information, and the content that engages the audience addresses their concerns.
Brand website or site component             A brand website is chosen for the marketing plan since the customers associate brand quality with different features including how the company engages with them (Dempster & Lee, 2015). The brand website is more effective than the site component as it does not affect the brand quality. While the Beats by Dre headphones are popular, it is no guarantee that the launch of the Beats by Dre Speakers will be successful. The digital marketing plan can influence consumer sentiments since the brand website sites will integrate promotion to market the product. The website is the online platform where the customers and potential customers will compare prices, quality and product features.  The customers are going to review the company’s product and services regardless of whether there is a brand website. Hence, the company will focus on protecting its online reputation through providing superior service and products while engaging the customers, who can review the product (Katherine, 2012). The more customers give positive reviews the more likely that there will be positive citations.
