In business the main business goals define the target to be achieved, people often use the terms strategy and tactics interchangeably to describe how to achieve the set target. When defining these two words, similar characteristics are used, making it difficult to differentiate strategy and tactic (Gregory, 2015). The simplest way to distinguish the two terms is to look at strategy as the big picture and tactics as a process that focuses on small achievements (Gregory, 2015).
