Switzerland is one of the nations in the world that has shown exemplary efforts to ensure that it remains conducive for carrying out businesses. Therefore, research shows that the regulatory environment, political stability and levels of corruption have improved a lot in the recent years (Vogel, 2013).
In regard to the worldwide governance indicators, Switzerland shows an increase in its level of stability over the years. Therefore, this means that the country has been employing a lot of measures to ensure that it’s free from terrorism and other activities that might disrupt the country’s stability. Hence, this level of stability is very conducive when it comes to carrying out business because investors will not be faced by the challenge of losses associated with political instability. As well, the government of Switzerland is governed by a constitution and this makes it easy to judge activities related to business and trade (Vogel, 2013). The economy of Switzerland is one of the most important aspects that the government has focused on. As a result, this explains the reduced level of political instability.
Also, in regard to the regulatory system of Switzerland, the level has increased and this means that the country is employing a lot of measures to ensure that the legal system is well controlled. As a result, this ensures that doing business in Switzerland is conducive. Some of the rules in question govern business activities such as the formation of contracts, registration of businesses and labor unions among others.
