Football has always been an interesting sport, especially for me. The starts involved in the game, as well as generally how everything is done on the football pitch is something inspiring. My dream job is to become the manager of Manchester United Football Club, a professional football club which is based in Old Trafford, Manchester, U.K. It is arguably the richest, biggest and most famous club in not only Europe but the world. It is also a club with quite a rich history and culture of success, especially over the past three decades. This culture has enabled it to win virtually every piece3 of silverware available during that time, from the English Premier League to the Club World Cup trophies. It might appear to be quite a big dream, being the manager of such a club is my ultimate dream. The position of a club manager for such an iconic institution comes with certain job descriptions and specifications, job compensation and its benefits package, and will also evaluate a suitable performance appraisal program for assessing job performance.

Reporting To: The Glazer family who are the owners of Manchester United Football Club.
Working Conditions: Extremely competitive due to intense competition from other football clubs in the premier league and competing with the best football teams in Europe in the Champions League. The club itself has a great reputation for providing its managers with the right working environment for them to thrive in. There is no meddling from the owners or the higher echelons of management unless it is essential. It is therefore upon the manager to appreciate and enjoy these working conditions, to go ahead and match the ambitions of the club.
Job Duties: To aid the team in winning trophies and develop the team for the future by investing in the Manchester United Football club's youth academy. The winning of trophies entails player and team management, such as motivating the players before, during and after matches, determining which players to play, doing player rotation and also determining what playing formation to be used in each game. He should also play a role in determining which players to buy or sell, even though the final word comes from the club’s director of football. The manager also needs to oversee the development of any infrastructure within the club, be it the stadium or training facilities.
