The Grocery retail world of Amazon announced its acquisition with the major organic food retailer Whole Food Market. The deal illustrates that the interest of Amazon in moving to the business of operating traditional mortar and brick store. The strategy also shows the interest of Amazon to grow its interest in groceries. The company has its delivery services, the Amazon Fresh and the click and collect model. This model is supposed to allow customers to purchase goods online and then pick them in person. In case Amazon is able to build more Suburban stores and then expand to delivery services then this can be bad news for other larger stores.
