Globalization refers to the ability of businesses to operate beyond national borders and trade in the world as a global village. The advent of technology and communication has made it easy to transfer labor, capital, goods and resources across the world. Globalization thus can be referred to as a situation where boundaries and barriers have been removed to facilitate flow of goods, capital, services and labor. Various companies engage in different ways to execute globalization. One such company within the writer's locality is Wal-Mart.
Walmart as a company operates in various environments which it affects socially, economically and politically. Walmart enjoys presence in various countries in the world.
