Brand loyalty is the bias, consistency in purchasing a particular brand of products that emanates from positive feelings, perception, and dedication to the brand without considering others even when their offers are attractive for similar products. My loyalty to brands stems from factors such as their performance, behavior, and attitudes. In turn, the factors push me to make return purchases due to my attachment to the brand.
Reasons for my loyalty to various brands.
First, the experience with a brand promotes my loyalty. A brand that puts significant focus on ensuring my experience with their product, shopping, and consumption of the product is worthwhile and satisfactory, fosters loyalty. Satisfaction, in this case, develops upon identification of significant benefits such as buying a product whose creation is valuable and durable, and one that enhances the services it is meant to provide (Ahmad & Nawaz, 2011, p. 215). Additionally, a brand that ensures my satisfaction through the presence of caring and helpful customer service and favorable prices achieves loyalty. Moreover, other services such as the possibility of returning a product if unsatisfied, prompt delivery and provision of product warranty promotes my loyalty.
Secondly, trust in a company translates to loyalty to their brands. Trust develops when a company proves they are reliable and of high integrity when dealing with them. Companies demonstrate this by providing complimentary products and services (Ahmad & Nawaz, 2011, p. 215). Consequently, I can trust that their products are easy to use without any hurdles creating difficulties now or in the future. Hence, I am inclined to be loyal to them.
Thirdly, the ease in which I can conduct business with an organization also develops my loyalty to them. Making transactions with companies that make the experience smooth, fun and straightforward through the provision of favorable prices, time sensitive shipping and uncomplicated procedures makes me committed to the brand.
What makes various brands special?
The superiority representation a brand brings out makes it unique. Customer satisfaction is derived from the observation of a product or brand as a better, affluent and worthy for them to purchase (Ahmad & Nawaz, 2011, p. 216). The image, therefore, creates a strong force to a customer making them likely to buy these products continually. Additionally, the statement a brand makes about a client to others makes it important to a client. A car such as a BMW or shopping at Target creates an appearance of an individual that is classy, trendy, and financially stable. Consequently, to uphold such appearances, a customer is prone to prefer such brands.
