Written Project Report Name Institution Affiliation Ku Fu tea Company Background Information David Jiang is an established sales representative for Ku Fu tea Company that specializes in milk and tea beverages. The company is the unchallenged expert in the bubble tea business and has been in operation for the past ten years with establishments in USA, Australia, Canada and Vietnam. David has been with the company since its inception when the three friends Michael, Allan and Ray stumbled upon the idea to start up their own bubble tea franchise in the US after failing to find a place that served the quality that matched the standard of the tea they had in Taiwan. He has been exceptional in fostering the growth and expansion of the company through his unrivaled selling skills to hotels and restaurants around the states of New York and Florida. His efforts in the company have made him indispensable. He was recently involved in convincing the company to venture into Canada, a fast growing country and where the market for milk and tea beverages was untapped hence in plenty. The hotel that was barely six months old had already established itself as a major player in the food and beverage industry but was yet to adopt the company’s famous bubble tea among its other beverages. It was located in 589 8th Ave 17th Floor, New York NY 10018. We brushed through some of the company’s products and pricing, picked some brochures, ensured that the sales pitch that was detailed to the hotels needs was properly saved in the laptop and carried some samples to get the hotel on board. We were taken into a conference room after our arrival at the hotel where we met the hotels Chief Executive Officer, Chief Finance Office and the hotels project manager all eager to hear what we had to say. We quickly set up our laptop to their projector then David commenced the sales call with some pleasantries and introductions. He was able to incorporate some humor in his introductions which helped to relieve the tension in the room and got the hotel managers laughing and comfortable. He then shared a brief history about Kung Fu Tea Company and its achievements so as to assure the managers of its stability and credibility. David had a good command of the English language and it was impossible not to marvel at the way he dropped big words that he followed up with simple statements and hence ensured that he got his points home. He knew how to up his voice at just the right time when stressing an important point a...
