At the internal level, Joy Kindergarten has been built around strategic objectives that will see the level of education offered come above that offered in the industry at the moment. The kindergarten has the production capacity to train more than 200 children to the highest level of education, while enhancing a balanced learning environment through intriguing opportunities (Aulet, 2013). The staffs employed at the kindergarten are recruited through a rigorous selection method that ensures that they meet high standards of early childhood training (Blackwell, 2008). Every teacher and support staff has proven track records (Whiteling, 2010). The managerial structure at the kindergarten from the director down to the support staff is flat, such that every need is addressed in the most open manner.
Matters concerning children are quite sensitive and thus the management employs the flat structure to ensure that information flow and decision making process are fluid and most importantly effective to make sure that the needs of the children are not compromised at any point (Whiteling, 2010). The management attitude is based on a highly social culture, where learning is integrated with fun activities. This creates an appealing atmosphere to the children who are given a chance to develop their skills and harness their social integration abilities, which will be crucial as they grow up.
At the external level, the economy has been improving since the last flop in the year 2008 and most of the families in the society are able to their children to school (Whiteling, 2010). Legally the kindergarten is going to be defining access to education as established under the early childhood statutes, with reference to scope, site selection and eligibility among others. The kindergarten is also going to be facing competition from elements such as home schooling, mainstream primary schools, local private schools and minority religious schools (Blackwell, 2008). Relative to targeting the market, using the Pearson market segmentation strategies, the market segment in question will be the middle class families (Aulet, 2013).
