It is becoming a common trend in the business world especially in information technology and other service industries (Basar, 2014).
Businesses turn to outsourcing to cut down on costs like labor and capital costs, increase efficiency, reduce risk, free up resources that can be put to better use and to focus on their core business processes. For instance, when manufacturing costs are higher than outsourcing expenses, a company will choose to outsource so as to cut down on costs.
