Implement Servant Leadership in an Organization
Servant leadership entails the practice of leadership that puts the good of those who are led over the self-interest of a leader. This approach of leadership is known to promote the development and value of people through an approach that ensures the community is built and a practice of authenticity is entailed in providing leadership for the leaders and those led. As determined in the study, the implementation of servant leadership within a community group continues to remain one of the areas of practice that has positive impact on these organizations (Greenleaf, 2004). Robert K. Greenleaf on his work related to servant leadership alleges that servant leadership should be geared towards making an impact within the leadership structures of a health organization with the drive of creating a better society. Additionally, the author also alleges that an effective servant leadership approach is required in order to determine the goals of a health institution.
Servant leadership therefore has a potential impact in a health organization by displaying authenticity. Health institutions have a different approach and view of a leader. Leaders within these institutions are expected to be open, approachable, accountable and real to others. This therefore denotes that an impact is created in the manner in which leaders serve by displaying the qualities of authenticity (Bogel, 2007). Additionally, an impact is also created in the manner in which leader’s value people. People are in this case valued and developed and not put to use for the benefit of the leader. Effective servant leadership also has the capacity to impact and develop people. In this, leaders are required to take responsibility of helping others in growing to achieve their full potential as servants and leaders. Through this, servant leadership creates a learning environment that encourages the development and growth of individuals. In line with this, it is therefore essential to determine that these elements can be measured through the changes that are identified in the systems of a health institution.

In determining the impact of servant leadership on result, it is essential to determine the fact that the focus of this approach to leadership is inclined on the creation and development of a better society.
