Aligning a team towards the achievement of the company’s mission should start by supporting employees in the progression of their personal goals. This step aids in encouraging them to ensure their efforts are geared towards the organizational vision. There are fundamental ways of ensuring that employees work in alignment with the company’s mission. The management should make goals that are relevant to the team. The work should not only be based on the completion of tasks but also the achievement of purpose in the completed work. Thus, managers should get the opinions of different employees relating to their goals to ensure they work for a purpose.
