The household is known to plan its ways of spending in regard to the amount of money that they have. Therefore, this brings about the idea of saving the extra amounts of money given the fact that the household has well planned budget. As well, the budget of the household depends on the total income. Hence, one of the ways through which the household can constrain consumption in order to save more is by calculating the difference between the total income and the amount that it plans to spend (Estrada, Garrote, Valdeolivas & Vallés, 2014). As a result, this will make it easy for the household to plan for the future as long as it has a constant supply of income. Once the household has calculated the expected total income, then it will be able to plan for the various needs and also cut the spending that is done on needs that are not very important to the household.
