As CIO, one of the most important factors, which will facilitate the implementation of an EMR system, is to ensure that the system fit seamlessly into the staff’s daily workflow. Notably, this is not easy because the staff is likely to resist the change; thus, I will look for an efficient and easy way to use EMR system. The approach will help the doctors find the EMR more attractive than the manual or paper records. Still, I will consider using the pay per procedure approach.
