What I have learned from the article
I have learned that there are so many punctuation rules that I need to know. For instance, I have learned that I need to use a comma while listing three or more items. I have learned that punctuation rules are very vital to make English structures meaningful. I have learned that some punctuation rules are hard to understand and need a lot of practice to be perfect in using them (Edufind, 2015). For instance punctuation to indicate possession for nouns ending with letter "s" is confusing and requires a lot of practice to understand it well.
My understanding of the article
My understanding of the article is that many people have the knowledge of the English usage but have little knowledge of how punctuations should be used to enhance the grammar of their English (Edufind, 2015). I also understand that many written letters, electronic mails, and text messages have gone unanswered due to wrong punctuations and hence there is a need to take punctuation rules seriously.
Important elements as per my opinion
In my views, the most important part in English is to know how to punctuate English sentences. One may have the mastery of English vocabulary but if he or she does not punctuate the work well, then he would have a serious problem in communicating effectively (Edufind, 2015). One should, therefore, take enough time to correct the punctuation mistakes in any written text before sending it to the recipient.
How I will use it effectively
I will use the knowledge I have gained from to correct the errors I have always committed while punctuating English structures (Edufind, 2015).
